Alright here is some info on the jutsu's that you need to know if you wish to use them. For any special jutsu you need to meet the requirements set for that. Another thing is the set amount of jutsu you have depends on how many points you have in that area. For every 2 points you have in that area you can have 1 jutsu of that type. So if you have two ninjutsu points you can only have one ninjutsu.
Learning Jutsu - If you meet all the requirements and have room for a jutsu then you can learn a new jutsu or create one but you must train for it! (Note: Genin start out with only basic jutsu and must learn any new ones unless stated a genius) The only way around this is to start out at a rank higher then Genin. At which point we assumed your character learned his jutsu in the past. However if that isn't that case there is two ways you can learn jutsu. One way is have someone who is more skilled then your character teach him a jutsu that he already knows or who has the same element to help guide you. If you choose this route you must RP the learning of the Jutsu to 3 full pages. Then a mod will decide weather or not your character has learned the jutsu by judging how realistic this was and how much effort you put into it. If you fail you can keep going another 3 pages.
The other route you can go for is learning your character learning it by himself with no help which harder then being taught. Though can pay off when you have an original powerful jutsu. With this you most make a post that is at least 750 in word count. After this you will be judged by a mod and from there approved or disapproved and if you fail you can again try all over again. Remember the better you RP in your training post the more likely you are to be approved. Going "HE TRIED HARD TO COMPLETE JUTSU" will not be approved.
Genin & Basic jutsu - All Ninja know the basic jutsu therefore we do not count it as character jutsu. These jutsu include transform jutsu (look like someone else), substitution jutsu (makes object look like you and replace you), clone jutsu, (creates illusion of you), chakra walking (walk up walls and on water with chakra) and basic genjutsu dispelling (for D Genjutsu dispelling). The Genjutsu dispelling gets stronger the higher your chakra control is. So if you have a higher chakra control then then genjutsu you cab dispell it if you realize its a genjutsu.
Summoning - If you wish to learn summon you must first find a contract to sign. Either another Ninja will have it (if you want a summoning some else has) or you must find the contract scroll to sign a blood contract. For this you must alert a mod and he will let you know if a person has it or not. If a person has it you must find that ninja and convince him to let you on the scroll (Max 3 people on 1 animal). If no one has that animal yet then the mod will assign a thread to you in which he will challenge you to go after the scroll. You will face anything he throws in your path to get this scroll. It will be the same difficult as a B rank mission you may want to convince other Ninja to join you.
Geniuses - There is always people who seemed to have a natural talent in certain areas. These people are know of geniuses and like in the show we have them as well. However here if you wish to have a character that is a genius you must first pass the test! This is only for the most skilled RPers so if you don't believe you as good as you can be don't waste the staff's time trying to be a genius. You only get one try at becoming a genius per character. The benefits of having a genius character is that if you start out as a Genin you can start out with two jutsu as opposed to having to learn like non-geniuses. You can either have two C or D rank jutsu or one B rank jutsu and D rank jutsu. The other benefits to being a genius is you learn jutsu faster so basically you only have two full pages for RPing with a trainer or a 500 word post alone. Then you are approved from there. You also get one jutsu per point in that area meaning you 3 ninjutsu for your 3 ninjutsu points.
